We Take Privacy Seriously ...

and we believe we should write our privacy policy in normal language so that you understand how your personal information is and is NOT used.

Any information collected by DohJe will ONLY be used in ways to promote gratitude to account owners, to promote employee recognition, or to help the public and account owners communicate.

DohJe is not directed to children under 13. If you learn that your minor child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us.

What We Do

We use your email address to send you notifications regarding your DohJe Note or if you submit a “Sign Up” request.

For DohJe Account Owners: Only your name (first name and last name or first name and last initial), photo, department, role, and facility will be visible to the public. Your email address will be kept private. The text of DohJe Notes can only be shared with supervisors and the public when the sender selects the option to share. The content of your note to a colleague will only be shared with the supervisor and made available to share with the public if you select the box to share. For non-shareable notes, your supervisor will only see the number of notes you have sent and received.

For the Public: Your name, message and any photos you upload will be visible to the account owner. The text of your DohJe Note will be visible to that account owner’s supervisor if you select the checkbox to make the note shareable. Your email address will be kept private unless an account owner flags your note as “not gratitude”. For any notes marked as “not gratitude”, your name, email and content of the note will be sent to an administrator for review. %p We may also share aggregated or non-personally identifiable information with our partners or others. For example, we may share the average number of e-Thanks a caregiver receives or the percentage of caregivers receiving at least one e-Thanks per month.

We may also share aggregated or non-personally identifiable information with our partners or others. For example, we may share the average number of DohJe Notes an account owner receives or the percentage of account owners sending or receiving at least one DohJe Note per month.

Depending on how you're accessing our site, we may use "cookies" (a small text file sent by your computer each time you visit our website, unique to your DohJe account or your browser), or similar technologies to record data. When we use cookies, we may use "session" cookies (that last until you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (that last until you or your browser delete them). For example, we may use cookies to store drafts of your DohJe Note messages or to keep you signed in to your account so you don't need to re-sign in every time you visit DohJe.
